^^unreal how the mets came out fine when the month was all said and done, this really is so surprising given the sad state this team was in earlier...hopefully they can continue to play better (yea beltran) and hope for some late season comebacks by pedro and delgado...

I'm angry at Philly now. Sunday is my day to sleep in, but thinking it's a 1:00 start I get up earlier than I had to. Why a 1:30 start?
Come on Pelfrey, a sweep would be fantastic.

this is getting to be so standard with reyes and i love it...
hopefully pelfrey can send them to loss 9997...he's still a vital piece of the future (imo), but he's got to show the mets something soon

Delgado LOVES Philly. Pelfrey needs 1 more inning this game. Who was dropped for Pelfrey? If it wasn't Sele then I hope we see him today. He has to pitch sooner or later.

So Ron Darling was right and once I heard Marty Noble's name i check the column to see who the last 2 Mets were to hit multiple homeruns in back to back games. Well after reading the column I saw a quote by Reyes that I loved.
"We do good things here. We all like it here," Reyes said. "Every time we come here it feels like home." All I have to say is, ha.

is this back thing with perez considered serious?? i think he was supposed to get it examined earlier today, but so far haven't heard much and I don't have the game on at the moment (radio), so I don't know if they mentioned any update on that...
ugh, y is mota batting here...willie wants 2 IP from him that badly?? edit: mota threw 18 pitches it looks like in the first IP, eh, whatever, i guess i'm being a nit...
