Okey dokey gets out of impossible jam, but what now, we can't score.

Huge out by Okajima, but why the heck is Papelbon not in the game?

If only we saved some runs from the TB game. Of course we score a bunch and then never score any. We suck. F*** this team.

since we're having trouble scoring im not wasting Paplebom in this game until we have a lead.

It looks like Timlin is going to come in if BOS doesn't score here. Pap hasn't pitched for a while and sox in a tie game: pap > timlin. Sox with lead: pap > timlin.

Papelbon hasn't pitched in three days, there's only 1 more game before the ASB, and Timlin is coming in. Using him for 1.1 innings here is not a waste.

It's a waste in the sense that if they don't score for a while then do score a run, who closes?

On the road it's harder ot use your closer in a tie game.
