They basically wait for premium hands and catch a big flop and hope no one pays enough attention to know what kind of nitty nut peddler they are and get paid off. Just watch when you are sitting with guys like him or pumuckel or futile war and you say to don't call don't call he has a set or the nut str8 or whatever. They have the most obvious hand but even a mediocre regular player is too stupid to watch and see how nitty they are and will pay them off every time with stupid [censored] like donks pay grand mellon off with (no offense grand and I am not comparing you to them). It never seems to amaze me at how many people pay these guys off when they have such obvious hands. I don't fault these guy's for doing it either. It is a smaller variance way to win the only down side I see is eventually they are gonna have to learn to play poker and mix it up or they will never move much higher. |
