[ QUOTE ] also, does anyone know how to configure sixth sense table list to show tables I am already seated at in a different color? [/ QUOTE ] This is easy. Add *Yourself* into the Buddy list, and give yourself a buddy score of 1000. Then under custom table formatting, add a rule that sets a different color if buddy score > 900. Hope that made sense. -Ben [/ QUOTE ] thank you Ben that did make sense. a perfectly logical way to do it when you put it like that. of course I should have known how "easy" it was Thanks for makin a great service!! one more question for now. when i import observed hands into my pt sql database while concurrently running pt aggregator, how do i make sure it updates the stats in the main "aggregated database" (cache?)? i seem to be having problems with it. Thanks again! |

Thanks again! [/ QUOTE ] If you are running PTAgg, its updating the aggregated database. It is cached in SS. In SS's advanced options, you can set Cache minutes to zero so that all data is loaded from the db, but this will slow you down a bit. -Ben |

Any plans on making it possible to use different custom scoring rules depending on the number of players at the table? That would be nice.

Dennisa had a tool that allowed you to plug in different criteria for different categories and by entering these #s in it would spit out hundreds of custom rules. It saved hours of time. If there is a way to provide something like that it would be very helpful.
Does that make sense or not? I could go into detail if not. |

This has to do with SS custom rules? I don't see how it could spit out rules? What exactly did you tell it? |

Dennisa explains it a bit in this post . What I did was send her 9 different VPIP ranges and 11 PFR and 6 AF ranges and she sent me a text doc of 600 some rules. These would have taken me hours and hours to compile myself. Like I said I'm not sure how the thing works but it would make it MUCH easier for SS users to utilize the custom rules feature. It would also make it much easier to tweak those rules.
I dont know much more about the program she used but I can send you the input I sent her and the output that she returned to me. Perhaps denissa could elaborate more on how it works. I also like the idea to have separate custom rules for full ring/6max, Limit/NL that were applied to the proper game automatically. This would improve SS greatly. Does that make more sense? |

Did she send you a file with all possible combinations of those ranges? i.e., 9 * 11 * 6 = 594 combinations? Obviously that's way too many to assign something other than a rule based score, i.e. add up some value for VPIP range, another for PFR, etc to get one score. How about this, a script-based rule system? Maybe javascript or something else simple, and you could change the score based on game type, # of players, etc. -Ben |
