Something weird happening to me while playing my usual 8 table 50NL at titan poker:

Titan Poker "TURBO" Genk 0.25/0.5, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop|<font color="red">saw showdown</font>

Button ($61.9)
SB <font color="red">SB ($47.5)</font>
BB <font color="red">Hero ($50)</font>
UTG ($56.75)
UTG+1 ($71.8)
CO-1 CO-1 ($37.9)
CO ($50)

Preflop: Hero is in the BB with 2 2
2 folds, CO-1 calls 0.5, 2 folds, SB raises to 1.5, Hero calls 1.25, CO-1 calls 1.25.

Flop (5.25) Q 7 2
SB bets 4.5, Hero raises to 13, 1 fold, SB calls 8.5.

Turn (31.25) 4
SB bets 32.75, Hero calls 32.75.

River (96.75) 9

SB shows K K
Hero shows 2 2

Hero wins 96.75 with Three of a kind, Two's

So i doubled with a set, great. Then the next hand:

Titan Poker "TURBO" Genk 0.25/0.5, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop|<font color="red">saw showdown</font>

Button Hero ($143.75)
SB ($56.75)
BB ($71.8)
UTG ($36.15)
UTG+1 ($50)
CO ($61.9)

Preflop: Hero is on the Button with 9 7
5 folds

Somehow i managed to add a extra $50 to my stack without doing anything and being over the max buy in for the table.

Weird.

[ QUOTE ]
Today I received my payment for my $1k WSOP buy in (850 now, 150 after i prove I play, if i play).

So, now I have to figure out if I want to play, or if I just want to keep the $$$$.
Only real negative is that the only $1k event that a Plat player can register and play in is the $1k w/rebuys...
I would be at an even bigger dissadvantage not having the funds to afford a rebuy.
However, the payoffs would be bigger if I were to manager a cash.

The decisions....

[/ QUOTE ]

Tournaments are fun. Vegas is fun.
Go to vegas.

Also, I would suggest you not play a rebuy tourny if you are not willing to rebuy.

not really bottom set, if villian has the fd hes likely to shove the flop, if not we have nothing to worry about.

Maybe bottomset is suggesting a mini-raise that consumes 2/3 of our stack gives away too much information. If we push we could have a wider range including the flush draw.
