Top 4 was such an awesome inning. Delgado double, seeing fatstro round the bases at 1 MPH and the dugout laughing in his face at his amazing head first slide, phillies giving up embarassing runs, just great.

Howard looks silly at the plate today. Hopefully that carries all day. What's the weather looking like down there?

Wow, Manuel's a dick.

Could I ask what provoked you to say that?

Manuel is a leading contender for NL Manager of the Year, if you ask me. Maybe not the world's best in-game strategist, but he's guided the Phillies through some pretty tough times this season

He got on El Duque's case for having Rosin on his hat and had the umpires go out and check it after Duque warmed up. One can only assume it was to make Hernandez cold before he would start.

Speaking of Duque, he needs to get some outs. Don't want to get into that bullpen just yet.

At the end of El Duque's warmups (in the first inning), he comes out to talk to the home plate ump.

Home plate ump goes to talk to crew chief calls Manuel out.

Manuel talks some more.

Umps converge at mound to check back of El Duque's cap, which has dirt/rosin on it.

Umps give cap back to El Duque and start game. Gamesmanship over.

Thus, Manual is a dick. Funnier now given the results of th efirst 6 innings since he was clearly trying to get into Duque's head.

Whew. Good job to get through the 6th. A lot of pitches though...coming into the inning you thought you could get 7 or 8 out of Duque today.

Wow, he was on the base when Rollins caught the ball. Hurts my fantasy team there. Jesus.
