Phresh what adjustments did you need to make for 2/4

[/ QUOTE ]

It wasn't so much that I had to make adjustments, it's that I THOUGHT I had to make adjustments, so I overadjusted terribly and started playing very bad. I was RR with like, every other hand from Button if CO raised. I was RR OOP super often when CO/Button raised. I'd raise a limper with way too wide of a range and CB every flop. Basically autopiloting an insanely aggressive and spewy style. So I had to readjust and come down a bit on the aggressive scale and start playing good poker. Now I feel I am by far playing my best and I'm actually enjoying poker again.

The biggest difference I noticed in 1/2 and 2/4 is that 2/4 has much more regulars and nitty players than 1/2. For the most part, the regulars at 1/2 are MUCH worse than the 2/4 regulars. Once you adjust properly and grow as a player, you can easily beat the 2/4 regulars, though.

I think I might try playing 12 tables at Stars and maybe a half dozen or so at FTP.

I tried datamining a dozen tables at FTP while 12-tabling Stars tonight and my system didn't even burp. So from a technical standpoint it should be possible.

I'd really like to see how many I can actually handle...

Full Tilt is apparently not interested in convincing me it's not rigged. This fish is playing half the hands (all of them poorly), and then this...

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed)

Hero ($125.75)
MP1 ($235)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls $4, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $3.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls $3.

Flop: ($17) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $11</font>, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $40</font>, CO folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $132.75 (All-In)</font>, MP1 calls $81.75.

Turn: ($257.50) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($257.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $257.50

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 6d 6c (full house, sixes full of tens).
MP1 has Tc Td (four tens).
Outcome: MP1 wins $257.50.</font>

Anytime I have a lousy session, I log on to Full Tilt and play some HU. Works EVERYTIME.

Standard KK:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
Hero (BB): $104.05
SB: $110.55
Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB raises to $3.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $11.00</font>, SB calls $8.00
Flop: ($22) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $15.00</font>, SB calls $15.00
Turn: ($52) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $30.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises all-in to $84.55</font>, Hero calls all-in for $48.05
Uncalled bet of $6.50 returned to SB
River: ($208.10) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)
Pot Size: $208.10 ($0.50 Rake)
SB had 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Nines) and LOST (-$104.05)
Hero had K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Kings) and WON (+$103.55)

AK all-in pre-flop. Standard again:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
Hero (BB): $168.20
SB: $99.00
Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB raises to $3.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $11.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises all-in to $99.00</font>, Hero calls $88.00
Flop: ($198) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)
Turn: ($198) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)
River: ($198) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)
Pot Size: $198.00 ($0.50 Rake)
SB had Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a pair of Queens) and LOST (-$99.00)
Hero had K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Kings) and WON (+$98.50)

LOL nice slowplay. And I love the fake blocking bet on the river. Too bad I hit the flush on him:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
BB: $95.50
Hero (SB): $112.00
Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $3.00</font>, BB calls $2.00
Flop: ($6) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $6.00</font>, Hero calls $6.00
Turn: ($18) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $13.00</font>, BB calls $13.00
River: ($44) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $1.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $35.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises all-in to $73.50</font>, Hero calls $38.50
Pot Size: $191.00 ($0.50 Rake)
BB had 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ([2c 3c] three of a kind, Threes) and LOST (-$95.50)
Hero had T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a flush, Jack high) and WON (+$95.00)

Standard KK again. A bit of a cooler for him:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
Hero (BB): $237.40
SB: $102.50
Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB raises to $3.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $9.00</font>, SB calls $6.00
Flop: ($18) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $15.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $30.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $228.40</font>, SB calls all-in for $63.50
Uncalled bet of $134.90 returned to Hero
Turn: ($205) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)
River: ($205) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)
Pot Size: $205.00 ($0.50 Rake)
SB had J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a pair of Jacks) and LOST (-$102.50)
Hero had K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Kings) and WON (+$102.00)

I turn the nuts:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
Hero (BB): $345.80
SB: $109.50
Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">SB raises to $3.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $9.00</font>, SB calls $6.00
Flop: ($18) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $14.00</font>, SB calls $14.00
Turn: ($46) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $30.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises all-in to $86.50</font>, Hero calls $56.50
River: ($219) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)
Pot Size: $219.00 ($0.50 Rake)
SB had 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a pair of Eights) and LOST (-$109.50)
Hero had 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a straight, Queen high) and WON (+$109.00)

This last one was like the 4th time I've stacked this guy. Almost felt bad for him. What a sick river card:
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)
BB: $95.40
Hero (SB): $457.50
Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $3.00</font>, BB calls $2.00
Flop: ($6) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $5.00</font>, BB calls $5.00
Turn: ($16) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $12.00</font>, BB calls $12.00
River: ($40) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $30.00</font>, <font color="red">BB raises all-in to $75.40</font>, Hero calls $45.40
Pot Size: $190.80 ($0.50 Rake)
BB had 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ([5d 2d] a flush, King high) and LOST (-$95.40)
Hero had J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a full house, Jacks full of Kings) and WON (+$94.90)

I made the EXACT same mistake as you when I moved to NL400, just got completely out of my game, started raising way to much, and putting everyone on bluffs.
