I asked when I my 2nd (and 3rd) bonus woudl appear in my account so i know when to start clearing it, and this is the response I got.


Dear grrouchie

You will need to start for the 2nd bonus straight away as you are only eligible for it for 3 days. You will not need to make more deposits for this bonus.
The 2nd and 3rd bonus will not be in the bonus account, but will be credited once you clear the requirements.

We hope this answers you questions regarding this bonus, otherwise please do not hesitate to contact us again by either email or phone.

BTW, when does party's "day" start anyways?

it specifically says in their terms that the 2nd bonus begins the day AFTER you clear the first bonus.

I don't trust their support to be correct on this one.


Usually Party's day starts at midnight-eastern.
so if you finished the 'first' bonus after midnight (early this morning / late last night your next bonus shouldn't theoretically begin until Sunday.

Yeah, they are screwing up another promotion by sending out mixed messages. The email I received last night said that approximately 24 hours after finishing the first bonus, I would receive an email notifying me that I was now eligible to play for the second bonus.

I like the promotion and think it's a great idea and all, but once again they are making this a lot more complicated than it needs to be.

Part of me thinks there is some mad genius behind the scenes at Party who is purposely designing all of these slightly flawed promotions because he knows that it means that poker forums everywhere will be drowning in questions about the latest Party promotion.

I took out all the money in my Party account and in the notes field put "To Clear Stars Bonus."

Couple days later I get the triple bonus...

Rika I'd be careful about this bonus. At your stakes a 20x bonus might be -EV if you have good rakeback.

Bonuses are never -EV unless you have over 100% rakeback.

I'm curious what factors they use to determine who gets which bonus.

Logic would dictate (yeah yeah...it's party...what logic??) that those who play slightly less would get smaller bonuses that they can handle easier.


Well, my A8 bonus was 13005 points per week for $525.
They told me I would 'just have to play a little more'.
I haven't done it at all because 6-tabling the 3/6 games for 46+ hours per week is not something I wanted to do.

So obviously they have me pegged as a guy who SHOULD be able to play a high-volume of hands.


But for the reload they only gave me the 15% for $75. Which I thought was interesting.

Not really complaining.
$75 or $100 bonus isn't that big a deal. It's all 10x anyway.

Just thought it was interesting that some formula in party's computers found me to be both a super high-volume player for the A8 stuff...yet somebody who should get a smaller bonus for the triple-reload.
