not sure. theoretically if mexico destroys sa and canada, and usa does the same to sa, mexico and the us are probably in.

don't the tiebreakers only count games between the tied teams? The only way the US is out is if Mexico beats Canada while scoring 2 or fewer runs (2 runs would cause another tie breaker).

The worst case scenario is that Mexico beats Canada exactly 1-0. If that happens, the US would need to beat South Africa and allow six runs or fewer. This is a pretty safe bet. Canada, in fact, pretty much has a must win game against Mexico tomorrow.

I believe Gagne is not on Canada because of family/personal reasons
