Firstly, awesome thread title.
Secondly, I really hate the fact that PMs are capped now. (How's that for no-content?). -- Maybe I should have put these in a numbered list instead... Oh well, at least I got my "seperatory dashes" into this post. |

So I did something pretty stupid today. I was playing 2/4 6 max at some surprisingly good tables and losing. So what do I do? I sit down at a 5/10 table (actually a few, but I wasn't at more than one at a time for very long). Man, that game is ridiculously laggro. The table I was at for the longest was 55/25 or so. Average. Anyway, I wound up winning 28 BB in about 10 orbits, which exceeds my net winnings in 13k hands of 2/4. I also got this hand out of there. I realize I don't get full points for this hand because I hit buttons other than bet and raise, but it felt good nonetheless.
Absolute Poker 5/10 6 max, 5 handed. I raise Granny Mae UTG. I'm called by the BB, who's the loosest and most aggressive player as I can quickly tell, but I only have about one orbit at the table. Frop comes A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. BB bets, I raise, BB 3bets, I call. Turn is the K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BB checks, and I check. River brings the 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. BB checks, I check. BB shows J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and Granny Mae takes one home getting shown down UI. |

No content, but I just sat down at a table when I had my first true maniac joining soon after. 98% VP$IP at $1/2. Someone else was at 57%.
Thank you $60 and bonus completion. Why can't all tables be like that? |

With less than 3000 hands it's a small sample size, but so far I'm squashing 1/2 6-max flat as a grilled cheese sandwich (5BB/100). I'm chalking it up to the Gods of variance until time proves otherwise. And I'm finding Stars to have verrry juicy games.
Perhaps the most amazing thing about 6-max is that even if you're the PFR (or the PF 3-bettor!) there's always at least one opponent guaranteed to want to show down his K-high/no kicker or bottom pair. My goof in this hand was to respect the turn raise (hey, he could have K2 sooooted...): PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG raises, MP calls, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls.
