Im most likely going to do that too, just want to wait and see how many FPPs the PS3 will be. I wish I took the bonus instead of the 360 though, with the price drop it turned out to be around $70 difference in FPPs.

I imagine they're trying to figure out how to price without offending since electronics cost so much more in Europe.

actually I talked to someone who lives in Australia who contacted PS about the monitor. PS offered to refund the money if you buy it yourself. You should contact them to see if the offer is open to Euro.

The concierge isnt just for items worth <3k.

Go to Best Buy (or whatever electronic store), and buy whatever game system/games/controllers you want. Save the receipt, scan it, and email it to the vip club. They credit the amount to your account at the concierge rate.

No waiting for shipping or anything, instant gratification!
