[/ QUOTE ] Totally going againat 2+2 grain on this one: I have met Brandi. We chatted a few times while smoking outside the poker room of Venetian, and we played at the same table that night. I never posted about it here, as people would immediately form negative opinions, even though there is truly nothing negative about our encounter. Her manner of speaking and choice of words led me to see what I truly believe was the "real" Brandi. Like her self description, she was, as she described quite sweet and authentic, despite taking some horrible beats at the 1/2 NL table a few minutes earlier. And before anyone askes, no she never once asked me for money, staking, or anything like that. It was a pleasure to meet her in person, and I sincerely wish her the best of luck in the Series.

A couple of points,
To LasVegasMichael, do not understand how women like this operate? Of course she was nice to you and seemed like a sweet girl, of course she didn't ask you for money the first time she met you. If she was that bad at the little games she plays she never would have got $ from anyone. The goal of this kind of girl is to get people to like or possibly even love her. At that point she can be as bitchy and get as much $ as she wants, the more people that she meets and is really nice to the wider her base of potential future victims is. It's shocking that so many people are so naive about this kind of thing it's pretty standard among a certain type of women. As far as stealing from Newhizzle I'm sure she justifies it that since she never actually got the money that donking it all off isn't really stealing that's how self-centered scamming type personalities work there's always a justification for whatever immoral actions they take.The bright side is that her horrible play probably made Newhizzle back at least some of his money by people making notes that he was a huge donk and totally underestimating his game in the future.

I'm not sure what's worse. People who don't know you, and feel a need to put you down... Or people like you, who feel a need to explain yourself to people like me who don't give a [censored] who you are. I guess that's what I get for opening a random NVG thread.

For you to be expecting chivalry from 2p2 you must either: a) Not be totally serious, but frustrated (understandable). b) Have a warped sense of reality (somewhat likely given what I have read). or, c) Not be very smart (unlikely given what I have read). You shouldn't have to defend yourself like that... People will always talk about celebs, sports figures, etc... That's how people are, they need some drama and something to talk about... GL @ the WSOP future events...

Anyone involved with someone like Brandi learns more about life than they would in thirty years without her. I've read those boys' stories and they sound like whiny suckers. I promise you they're better for having known her.
