[ QUOTE ]
He could destroy a tiger if he could catch him. The question is, on land could he catch the tiger? [/ QUOTE ] Well, the Tiger has to get near the Hippo to try and kill it and advance. So he'll get his chance to "catch" the Tiger at some point. |

The whole "he has to get him" argument is bull. This contest isn't taking place in the wild, its some finite area. The 2 animals will eventually have to meet for one to win, so the ability to catch the other is not really important unless the animal has a prior engagement he's late for. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] You don't think a 20ft, 1200 pound crocodile could shake him off of his mouth? I think you are underestimating how huge and strong these things are. [/ QUOTE ] That's one of the things about the croc though, it's muscles that it uses to open its mouth and move it's neck aren't near as strong as other parts of his body. It's been said before you just gotta keep his mouth shut [/ QUOTE ] I am fully aware that the muscles that open a crocs mouth are not strong. But the croc could easily use its bodyweight to flail or roll over and get the human off of him. Also, getting hold of his mouth to begin with without using rope is no easy task. Look at the fifth video on this page: link It took rope and over 5 men (including steve irwin) to subdue this crocodile. And that crocodile was not even that big. |

[/ QUOTE ] But... no one here knows how fast a hippo is out of water. Can the tiger just circle him and claw at him every once in awihle until the hippo bleeds to death? Can the tiger jump on the hippos back and tear into his throat? Until someone can clarify how agile a hippo is on land, these questions will go unanswered. |

You guys are so stupid, three of these shouldn't even be close:
Elephant, croc, and hippo. The 4th should be lion but I'm fine with it being closer. |
