As for the original dudes who criticized me as an idiot: eat it, you have no idea who I am and that's going to suck for you the second we start playing together, if you ever make it to my level, that is.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your level seems quite high. We minus well not even make an attempt.

Now you're just putting words in my mouth... I never back down from a challenge.

I'm waiting for the Yale kids to represent, but in the meantime, any other group of pros that wants to challenge me is more than welcome to do so.

If the "AA" stands for pocket Aces, that is classic.

I'm not putting words in your mouth, I'm just mocking your idiotic use of the english language. Pretty impressive for the Ivy League.

Thanks for the compliments, douchebag.

By the way, Duke is NOT any Ivy League school.

I'll let you get back to your autoerotic asphyxiation now... if you could punch your man-lover in the face while you're at it, that would be great.

Sorry to bother you, stay classy!

Duke students have the highest liklihood of never getting laid, no clue about the poker question.

There's absolutely NO verity in that statement, whatsoever.

You're telling me Harvard and Yale kids get laid more? Give me a break. Of the elite schools on the list, I would say Virginia and Penn kids get laid the most.

Duke is somewhere in between.

Now, hold the phone... if you mean HOMOSEXUAL sex, then yes, you are indeed correct, sir, Harvard and Yale would kick Duke's ass.

I'll never forget one of my high school classmates who graduated from Yale telling mutual friends about kissing his freshman year male roommate and feeling awkward about it, not to mention sharing a toothbrush with this dude. You can't make this kind of stuff up.

Yale boasts FoxwoodsFiend, AJoGoAllin, Fslexcduck and myself, THE ACTUAL GOD. I'd take this four against any college's top four.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'll get three others from my school, and we have ourselves a challenge.

[/ QUOTE ]

Format: round-robin HU freezouts.
Games: 1 of limit hold'em, 1 of NL hold'em; everyone plays 8 times
Buy-in: 1k each game.
Blinds: 2/5 for the limit games (so $10 big bet), 1/2 for NL.

In the event a 16-16 tie occurs, a chosen champion from each team must play in a 2k HU limit hold'em tiebreaker, blinds at the same level.

I wanted to put more games in the mix, but then everyone has to play more than 8 rounds and it would take too long. Plus I don't think you're interested in non-hold'em poker anyways.

May the best team win.

Edited to add: It'd be more interesting with larger stakes, same structure. Are you up for that?

[/ QUOTE ]

yes, I am down for this. Contact information, obviously, must be exchanged. I will also get in touch with my Duke boys and get my final four set. The stakes will depend on what my team feels comfortable with, but I am on the same page with you, I just don't want to speak for three other kids.

MY AIM is: FJDelgadoAA. You must be on my buddy list to contact me.

Feel free to e-mail as well at either:

[email protected]

or [email protected]

The gmail address would be more convenient. I will provide my cell after we make some sort of initial contact. I would love to play these games at the Borgata, but online would be more than fine as well.

I'm just throwing this out there, but if we could get someone to sponsor the showdown in the form of throwing at extra few K into the prize winnings, I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Let me know...

[/ QUOTE ]

Holy [censored].

When I read the initial post, I thought to myself, "How funny would it be if this is Fern..."

Way to represent, dawg...
