This is ridiculous because no one is ever even close to a sure thing in limit HU matches, unless you're playing for an insanely large number of bets.

More relevant to your point: since HIV's bankroll is constantly in flux (to be charitable), GW's risk of ruin here is probably not as high as it seems.
