Edit: Also, is 300 BBs not considered "properly rolled" at these limits?

lol @ that. Especially SH - ESPECIALLY HU.

Look how many times it got capped every street or something like Q high took down an 8BB pot.

No, 300BB isn't enough, 300BB is like spending a week at your girlfriend's house and bringing only one change of clothes.. I mean, yeah, you might be able to pull it off, but you're going to have to be super deceptive and super lucky.

WTF? I was asking a legitimate question. Everyone is throwing around this "properly rolled" term so I wanted to know what that meant. It was established in a recent HSNL thread that "properly rolled" can mean lots of different things.

Don't think that is considered properly rolled even on small stakes full ring limit anymore, seems like that number was a factoid. HU it isn't even close.

I don't know about "nice guy syndrome". If I was up 100 BB on someone, I'd probably be plenty happy to play them for 15 BB more. Pretty sure he just thought he'd take the rest of the other guy's money.

Thank you, I was unaware that the 300BB guideline was antiquated, or that it was never more than a "factoid."

Shaniac it really depends upon what your definition of rolled is. But the HU games at those levels

i) You are not often going to have a big edge
ii) The play is super aggro thus high variance

As you can see, 130BB can go in less than an hour, so I wouldnt feel comfortable playing with 300bb. TLK went on a > 500bb downswing I think. I'd want 1000bb before feeling remotely comfortable.

I would say that if you can win and then lose the equivalent of a quarter of your bankroll in an hour you're playing over your head.
