still refuse to hate on him.

he f'd up, admitted it and has done his best to right it all.

i guess a lot of blacklisted him for life, but i for one would still very much like to hear his voice in strategy forums because he is undeniably a very sharp poker mind.

keep grindin zj.

He has paid his dues and done his time. Wtf do you really want from the kid?

[/ QUOTE ]

Since you asked me, I don't really care about any of it, and I certainly don't want anything from the kid.

I just thought it rather funny that people actually believed him.

He cheated, he lied....it's old news, and I do agree it serves no purpose other than general negativity for it even to be further discussed.

We're beating dead horses here folks. All six of them.

the only reason its relevent is evertime I see a ZJ post, BluffThis! feels the need to demand blood and talks as though no-one is moving on.

Rather than have to deal with it in every thread ZJ wants to join, it seems better to do it here.

ZJ was under absolutely no obligation to pay his rakeback customers once he did not get paid by Party.

BluffThis,

Do you get rakeback on Party?

nath,
"Cliffs notes: the very things that make multiaccounting MTTs +EV are what make it unethical and anyone undergoing the practice would have to be aware of them. "

the reason multiaccounting was +EV was b/c you're a +EV tournament player. If a -EV player multiaccounted, he wouldn't suddenly be +EV.

[/ QUOTE ]

true, but it's still an inherent unfair advantage. what bothers me most is that
1)people don't understand why multiaccounting is an unfair advantage
2)people assume that the rest of us tourney players would have done it if we'd thought of it first

Except we don't really know this is how it happened do we? Not until the person he paid comes on here and tells us how ZJ knew how much the rakeback was supposed to be - having not been paid by Party.

Most people do understand that it's an unfair advantage because of the possibilty of two entries ending up at the same table. That's what makes it cheating. I don't think people assume the rest of us tourny players would do such a thing. Anyone who has followed the ZJ threads knows the vehemence with which the vast number of tourny players posting on here oppose such a practice.

It's around about this time of the day that I like to relax with a nice bar of Tico Bonomo's Turkish Taffy -- not really a taffy, but technically a short nougat.

I saw this post yesterday and forwarded it to a friend who had ZJ as his affiliate. He is way more active on this site than I have been lately, but I guess he has been too busy or didn't care enough to reply. He said he earned about $500 in rakeback that month, and has not yet been paid. For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure he never expected to get any money, and still doesn't.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow. So this post kind of gives the lie to what OP wrote doesn't it? More scumminess. Of course I guess it's possible that ZJ just paid those customers he liked best and stiffed the rest.

[/ QUOTE ]

how do you know this post is credible? or are you just assuming it is because it fits with your agenda? pathetic.
