ACDC

Back in Black is their classc album, but I'm not sure which song would be their signature song.

[/ QUOTE ]

ok the Pretenders one I could see given the US / UK difference

But AC/DC? Are you [censored] kidding?

EDIT: Bowie is Space Oddity to the general public, I would personally take Ziggy Stardust or Rebel Rebel but whatev

You don't think Back in Black is THE ACDC album? I'll have to humbly disagree with you.

Went through the thread and looked at every band mentioned. If one song and only one song came to mind, I included it below.

The Beatles - Yesterday
The Rolling Stones - Satisfaction
The Eagles - Hotel California
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Proud Mary
Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama
Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire
Tom Petty - Free Fallin'
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl

Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me
Metallica - Enter Sandman

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge
Green Day - Good Riddance

OutKast - Hey Ya
Biggie Smalls - Hypnotize

Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way
Spice Girls - Wannabe
N'Sync - Bye Bye Bye

Of all the other bands I was familiar with, the question is debatable, IMO. These were the only locks I found.

You Shook Me All Night Long is the obvious, obvious, really [censored] obvious choice, yes Back in Black is their best album, AC / DC is one of the lockiest locks of possible locks ever

I think Brass in Pocket is semi-close..

The Smiths - How Soon is Now
The Kinks - You Really Got Me

One of the tougher ones is Public Enemy.. Fight The Power or Bring the Noise?

The Kinks is only complicated by "Lola" but I do think "You Really Got Me" is their main song

Re: For Those About to Rock, etc, Jasper, respeck for your music knowledge and everything but do you have downs syndrome? Seriously if there is any band that has a lock on one song it is AC/DC.
