Whats personally more important to you: winrate or learning rate?

Is that influenced because you are a winning player (safe assumption)?

And most importantly: ever post a hand without properly converting?

Many thanks for all of the contributions BTW.

--Whats personally more important to you: winrate or learning rate?

Well, that's hard to say. If my win rate wasn't positive, I'd have quit a while ago. But if I focus on my learning rate, my win rate gets better, and if I focus on my win rate, my learning rate gets worse.

--Is that influenced because you are a winning player (safe assumption)?

Naturally, since if I wasn't winning, I wouldn't be here.

--And most importantly: ever post a hand without properly converting?

I'm 99% sure that I haven't. I may have posted a hand that failed conversion, but I'm pretty sure I'd have fixed it. I've also typed in the action by hand plenty of times. I've never done a raw HH dump.

I had plenty of disagreements with Evan, but he's a decent poster, just a poor mod.

What didn't you like about my modding?

Edit: I just read the rest of that post and found this, "Clarkmeister rarely contributes anything useful beyond statments of his own self-worth." You've got to be kidding. Honestly, I can't imagine how we could not have plenty of disagreements with opinions like that.

AHHHHHH

carlton cold?????

no. sorry aussie but just no. i know you mentioned coopers earlier and i was like... not my personal favourite but its a popular beer and considered high quality so whatever. but carlton cold? your recommending carlton cold to others? out of all australian beers, carlton cold? wtf?

............

(beer recommendation tilt)

a couple of other things.

first up, yeah fosters is a joke here, you cant actually even buy it in most bars, certainly not on tap. its an export beer tho. which means we dont actually even get the fosters that the rest of the world gets, the local type has a different formula.

anyway apart from the carlton cold (i am kidding around here if it isnt obvious), aussie's list is pretty good, but also check out little creatures pale ale, rooftop, crown lager. i think you have to try out a vb or carlton draught just for the experience too heh.

sorry but i dont have any more questions to add really, ive read the whole thread and its awesome, but everything ive wanted to know is here already.

Eskimo speaks the truth. I sincerely and deeply apologise for my Carlton Cold transgression...its funny really, as I wrote carlton cold I kind of thought "oh no, the other aussies here will hammer me for this" but since I have homebrewed a beer that was very similar to it I was somewhat biased...my homebrew tasted good btw , plus the all glass clear bottles with no label in the middle make a beer look realy cool I think so maybe its just that I prefer to look at a beer in a crisp clean glass or clean bottle rather than a brown one. meh.......my list turned into more of a range to try rather than just my personal choices. Im a one-woman one-beer type of guy.

edit: Eskimo, you gotta remember that we have really great beers in Australia and are really spoiled for choice.....Wookie might might actually like Carlton Cold

Question for Wookie: Clearly I was buying beer in the supermarkets too much...what is your beer buying strategy and what is your best American Made Beer? (from what I recall Sam Adams was my favourite)

Im more interested in what Beers Wookie has at his disposal rather than my personal choices....if he comes back and tells us what he can get we can provide further advice. Amen.

oh and Fosters, when in the states I had one of those big-assed cans of it just cos I like the cans I remmeber lookin at the label and reading something like "brewed in Canada(could be wrong) here under the supervision of Carlton United Brewies" and Im like wtf? so yes, different forumula for sure

btw you can rag on Carlton Cold but rag on CoopersAle at your peril. My stars name and avatar are pretty much a walking (unpaid) advertisement for Coopers. holla.

Oh, well, hello. You doing searches for yourself, or do you still occasionally read this forum? My disagreements with you as a mod were largely around your insistance on overriding other mods yourself rather than discussing things and working them out. As for other posters, well, I basically have three categories for people here:

1. People I like
2. People that don't really bother me
3. People that get banned (sometimes repeatedly) by myself, [censored], or someone else.

As for Clark, well, I don't actually see him in the sports forum much, where he posts a fair bit, too, but he's not as entertaining or informative in OOT as many other posters I enjoy reading.
