[ QUOTE ] I'd say $15K EDIT: Whoops, this was for vegetarian...Vegan would have to be more. Don't care to speculate though. [/ QUOTE ] You must be kidding. That's like $40 a day. Would you eat grass and leaves and [censored] for even ONE day for a lousy forty bucks, much less a YEAR? I can't believe these low numbers. I have to believe some of you guys haven't thought this out. [/ QUOTE ] Are you seriously that bad at reading comprehension? |

All,
don't forget that there's probably a book deal as well as several public appearances (Conan, etc.) that could come from this. FWIW my answer is somewhere around 30K after taxes plus whatever it would take to hire a chef for a year |

We have a general problem in these "how much would someone have to pay you" threads. People post like they're negotiating, so they name the number they'd want, not their bottom line. If somebody was standing in front me of with a suitcase full of cash and is about to walk away if I don't make the deal, I don't think I could pass on $50,000 (net, if I'm going to be honest with taxes it'll be more). Of course I'd start off asking for the moon and a chef and [censored], but 50 grand to eat differently for a year would be tough to pass up.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Ethopian, Indian, and falafel, which is why my answer is only $27,000. [/ QUOTE ] Do they have any good Ethiopian restuarants in Chicago? That is another cuisine I'd like you to introduce me to! |

15k, but I am already a vegetarian. for a "normal" diet consisting of fast food and applebee's and stuff, probably 200k.

I'll start. $27,000. [/ QUOTE ] this includes NOT eating: toro, chicken, turkey, salmon, halibut, eel. id say $40k as a starting point. maybe more. as in either i get nothing and can eat normally or i eat vegan and get paid 40k AFTER TAXES. Barron |

Very authentic and yummy. |

I'd do it for free if the meals were prepared for me so I didn't have to do any cooking and/or cleanup. My experience with vegetarianism/veganism was that there was an awful lot of time involved in preparing the food. It was that and having to be fussy when eating out, more than the lack of meat, that turned me off. That and the fact that meat is delicious.
