You guys are all bitching and moaning, but what else do you expect from Party? The site goes down all the time, tournaments get paused and cancelled all the time and they clearly don't care about their biggest customers. The only thing that I'm surprised about here is the fact that anyone is upset that a) party crashed (a normal situation) and b) they have handled it poorly and unfairly.

90%+ of the people claiming to be quitting party in their posts on FCP, 2+2, RGP, P5s or wherever else will be back on Party within a month or two. Party knows it, so they don't care. It's just a fact of life at Party, play at Stars or FTP if you want a site that will be up almost all of the time.

90%+ of the people claiming to be quitting party in their posts on FCP, 2+2, RGP, P5s or wherever else will be back on Party within a month or two. Party knows it, so they don't care. It's just a fact of life at Party, play at Stars or FTP if you want a site that will be up almost all of the time.

True. Although, I think this is one of the first or a rare incident involving their flagship MTT.

a) is true. I have dealt with crashes and mid-tourney cancellations before. Even last minute cancellations. Quite annoying. But
b) is not true, at least not for me. Their support is generally terrible, but in the end, I have always been treated fairly, eventually. This is the first time I've seen them ignore the fact that the results were clearly compromised and some players had an extreme advantage over 90% of the field, and Party simply doesn't care.

That may be true. I can only speak for myself, and I won't be back as long as: a) I don't receive my fair equity (approx. $1250) and b) I believe they have no interest in protecting a player's fair equity in the future.

I don't think it's simply that they know most of us will be back. Even if we all quit Party for good and they permanently lose 500 players, they know there will almost always be 5000 donks lined up to play this tourney anyway, regardless of how they treat us. Can you believe that? They will make $75,000+ every Sunday, whether they pay us fairly or even complete the tourney!

I've recently been trying to find more of what I like on Stars. If anyone can offer suggestions for sites w/ larger field $20-50 buy-in tourneys on a nightly basis, I might be converted. I like the nightly $20… 40K guaranteed, $30x3 and $40x3 tourneys. It seems like the only larger field tourneys out there are either 200K thru 1 MILLION guaranteed (that all come close what they need - no overlay - which is FINE for a Sunday afternoon) or it's 4392 seventeen year-olds playing a freeroll or $1.00 for a snowballs chance in hell at fame and fortune. If Party isn't the only place to sit down with several hundred people (and 60% of them being "relative" newbies - based on their PokerDB results) on a nightly basis, I don't know what is.

This is my Party routine.... walk in the front door after working all day, sort Tournaments by "Hold-em", "Registering", "Next 10 Minutes", "Medium" buy-in.
Sign up. Stick the chicken in the oven and retrieve it during the first break. What more could a girl want?

I want fishy poker. And I want it on “demand” (it all started with my first DVR and I'm never going back dammit).

they gave me $100 free!! haha these guys r clueless. Im going to bash them to anyone and everyone. This is blantant cheating by them...they wont even admit that it was a problem on their part.

What has always amazed me is how a company making millions like Party can't manage to spend a tiny amount to develop a stable and more or less bugfree client.

I hate the Monster promotion and the way that rake screws me, but at least I think I understand what Party is trying to do and why it makes sense for them.

The buggy horrible client is another issue though. What is the excuse? It's bad for buisness, pure and simple. Even losing a few players every now and then would probably cost them more in the long run than actually developing a quality client.

i've emailed PP 10x...no response. table froze with 752 players left and 2 people at table stealing. my "official" finish is 417th. i took all my $$$ out of PP. i expect no explanation/remedy from any rep of PP. any suggestions on where to play now???

I don't play Party anymore because they froze my account some time ago just for asking a simple question about my account.

When Las Vegas was run by the mob, it was more fair and reasonable than Party Poker is now.

Everyone who continues to play at Party will make this continue to be the case. I can't imagine playing at Party anymore. Getting deep in MTT's is tough enough without having to worry about the site [censored] you over.

At the very least, everybody should E-Mail support and ask for something extra. I got $100 although I was shooting for another entry into next week's tournament. I may still come back at them with a "It's a tournament I'd like to play weekly, but I just don't know if I can trust your software enough to use my own money to play it. How about entering me in next week's tourney for free?"

but yeah, e-mail Party. Get your free $100 at least.

EDIT: The next e-mail I sent got me another $115, so yeah. At least a buy-in into next week's. Only $800 or so off my actual equity, but it's the best I'll get so I'm happy about it.
