[ QUOTE ] Whoever pokerdude681 is on PP, please stfu about 2+2 in the chat. kthx. [/ QUOTE ] dont want the fish at the table to stumble into 2+2 and get better? if so i hear ya on that [/ QUOTE ] Heh, this is actually how I discovered 2+2. I was on a Party table where someone shoved on a blank flop with AT, a guy with AK called, neither improved and the AK won with ace high. The AT guy said in the chat "you're definately not from 2+2" and I wondered what he meant, so I googled "poker 2+2" (since googling "2+2" just gives 4 ) and that's how I ended up on this site. |

yeah ppl will then suddenly go and search for PT and then buy and then buy PA cause theyve heard of it and then become instantaneously pro since all of these numbers suddenly make sense and then theyll all get YOUR monniez.

well thats how i found PT, and after that my game improved. Think, everytime someone takes a step to improve their game, the average villain becomes better, think of it on a huge scale and in a few years games will be a lot tougther.

When is the final version of PokerEV coming out? I've been running as [censored] at NL200 this month and my lifetime winnings just turned red. Would be nice to see how much of it is variance. I just compared my stats with NL100 and they don't look much different. I played some NL100 today and the players were so amazingly easy to read. Didn't notice any tough regulars either. I guess I need to seriously work on my game to beat NL200 or then I've just been running awful (for 50k hands? doubt it).

has anyone actually played 200k+ hands without moving up? [/ QUOTE ] W/ all the talk of being content to hang out at nl200 "making x k/mo. w/ no variance" I would think there would be plenty of samples of this size out there. Include nl100 play and I'd guess there's a shttload of 200k samples out there. fwiw (~nothing), I have 110k+ at ~10ptbb, mostly nl200-6 w/ a bit of nl100-6, but some of that was pre-leg PP, I excercise DS-like game/seat selection, and also I've never denied the fact that I'm a heavyweight luckboxer. |

dirtylobster,
It's probably a combination of - Table selection - Running bad - Playing bad - Not adjusting properly |

One of the worst bad beats is when you totally soften up a fish by playing lots of marginal spots with him and get him totally on tilt, and then he blows off his whole stack to the nittiest nit at the table who flops a set.
