Jonyy--

Here in St. Paul there is an odd mix of rain/snow/freezing rain. I'm really excited for a foot or so, but classes still won't be cancelled. Where do you go to school?

In other news, I'm running hot hot hot:

I'm moving my micro-stakes game from bodog to pokerstars. The games are crushable but I get so bored playing 3 tables at a time, then I start getting fancy with crap like middle pair and start donking away my money. How are the .05/.10 games there? The only other site I've played on post-frist is Full Tilt, and it was such a rock garden that I know I could never make a profit there. Is PS a bunch of TAGs/rocks, too?

edit: i play full-ring

IF you find the 0.05/0.10 tables rockish and tight at ANY site, then ... well ... errr ... no offence

[/ QUOTE ]

At pokerstars they are.

I played 40k hands of nl10 there, theres always 1 to 3 regulars at my tables that have vpip's under 15 and pfr else at 2% or 15%
all very aggressive

Well you said you played full ring, with 1-3 regulars that leaves 5-7 nonregulars (or 6-8, can't remember if tables are 9 or 10 handed) .... doesn't it ?

My first 3000 hands since moving up to 25NL. I know it's a small sample size and I've been running pretty hot but I've found my feet here for sure. I'm improving my game every day and I've got so much more to learn and leaks to plug, as we all have. This last week i do feel like i've really turned a corner in my game. I've learnt so much from everyone here it hurts, so I'd just like to say thank you chaps.

I am actually close to losing all confidence. Over the last 3 weeks, which is the time this graph covers, I have reviewed my play countless of times and posted hands. Sure, there are leaks, but the biggest losses came from:

1. Full Houses: I am break even with FHs over 14k hands.
2. Running into Set-under-set situations 1/5 of the times I have a set
3. Flopping only about 30 sets with 500 times seeing the flop with PPs
4. Opponents always flopping the nuts

OK, the last one is subjective but for every c-bet that I take it down there's three where I'm check-raised and whenever I decided to call down they had me beat.
