He has a I think one or two PK goals, and another off a free kick. I don't think it would take much observance to see that Henry is off form this year.

[/ QUOTE ] PKs and free kicks still count as goals. I would be more then willing to bet that by the end of the season, Henry has 20+ league goals. Strikers go through lean spells. Henry will fully heat up at some point and will go on a goal scoring tear |

TOAFK, you are absolutely right.
KDawg, I know that PK and free kicks are counted as goals, I also know my name and where I live. My point being that Henry has been off form, and for a team that seems to lack some scoring, part of the blame has to fall on him. But maybe I am being too hard on him, and expectations are high. |

Lumping regular goals and penalty kicks together is faulty in my opinion. They should be kept completely separate. Free kicks are fair game though and important to include.

New001, good point. Free kick goals are pretty damn impressive. PK goals are silly though. Might as well as give someone 2 pts for a free throw.

rumors:
ManU decide not to sign Adu, and apparently Fulham will have another American soon....Dempsey... |

Man U find a 4th striker. Only it's a little baffling to me why they'd choose him over whatever other options are out there.

I don't get it either... he was obv a fantastic striker back in the day but should not be considered ManU quality at this point in his career... though our squad is light right now I can't see him being a viable option should the injury prone pair of Saha/ Ole go down *please no*
also Rossi's loan is only until January 1... so I would definitely expect him to be back at OT... and making a bigger impact than Larsson... Newcastle has been a total disaster for the kid and I hope he gets a chance at OT to show what he's got... Red Army! edit: having a player of his caliber and experience in big games will be a big asset... also just looked at the deal again and it appears that he'll be leaving March 13? wtf that is like 2 months and change I wonder if there is enough time to gel with the squad... |
