some people like to be overrolled, and have the confidence they are beating a level well before the move up. not like aba who moves up every 20k hands the lukbox. and some people like to move up more than every just 20buyins.

[ QUOTE ]
how many tables, and how many hands you got lifetime? Also whats ur winrate? If you play that much isnt it like 2bb/100 tops?

[/ QUOTE ]

why would the amount you play affect your winrate...unless you play tired n stuff? or are you referring to the number of tables? and no..there are alot of regs at 200nl who 8table+ like jager n stuff who have winrates much higher than 2ptbb

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah I think 100k hands in a month will affect your play.

[/ QUOTE ]

shizzle,

2 ptbb/100 is easy regardless of how many tables at small stakes. you can play nitty and make 2+

[ QUOTE ]

are even aggressive regulars going to be cbetting this flop 3way though?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I would myself a lot of the time. Especially with anything that can improve (even something like QJ). There are plenty of players who will cbet here with their entire range, and those are the types of players I'd go for a c/r on this board against.

[ QUOTE ]
also, do donks ever give credit for a set here when hero leads into him? also how does hero ever have a king here unless it was specifically KdXd? And how does hero ever have a 6 given that he called an utg raise from the blinds? it cant even be a 6 with a diamond draw...coz the 6 is a diamond.

[/ QUOTE ]

Whoa man, you're making things way too complicated. We can have 68, 33, 66, 88 as well as Kx diamonds. All of those hands make perfect sense and I imagine hero plays them this strongly every time. Sure he can have draws here, but I don't think most players are just betting every street like this and firing the river on a blank when called down on two streets. Obviously it's a definite possibility but I think calling down here as villain with a bluff catcher is spew. His flop and turn calls are probably worse however.

[ QUOTE ]
so if villain knows that hero never has a K or a 6 here ..why cant he call with whatever he is calling the double barrel with?

[/ QUOTE ]

We can have sets, 68, Kx diamonds, etc here like I said. And villain can have a draw pretty easily himself here and his missed draw is almost definitely better than ours, so their is value in that alone.

[ QUOTE ]
i dont know anything about his vpip/pfr n stuff...but the only really "draws" out there are 45 and 79, and only laggy villains are raising this. i suppose he could have overs+fd ..but you would think he raises the flop with this. im just assuming hes a lagtard though. even if hes a nit hes probably got the nutflush draw or KdQd, which probably raise the flop too. So what other draws can you fold out? the straight draws seem unlikely since you have some of the cards which take away some of the possible combinations for that

[/ QUOTE ]

The big key here is that villain has called two streets on a really draw heavy board, and his play is consistent with a draw or a weak made hand. We can basically rule out all full house combinations on the river, and it's not an easy call for any bluff catcher here at all. I mean, if I knew villain had something like 78 on the river I would shove the river for sure unless he was a complete station.

I think I can see why you tend to struggle a bit. Stop trying so hard to convince yourself that somebody is bluffing and justify a hero call. There are spots where when somebody's play isn't consistent with that of a strong hand in their range, and similar factors sway you towards a hero call. But here, it's so easy for hero to a hand to value shove the river with.

Fwiw, if I knew this villain had 44 I would probably not shove the river because it's clear he is a huge station calling down with an underpair here when he is crushed against our range.
