I used to 4 table heads up omaha sngs.. with some full ring ones mixed in.. talk about taking some beats...
You have to avoid letting losing 1 sng kill your entire set your playing.. if you tilt bad they are prolly not for you, since one bad beat could dump u out of 12 buy ins. At least in a ring game u can just leave if u get pissed off too bad. |

6 of one, half dozen of the other.. tilt is bad in either game. You just actually have the option of quitting if you're in a ring game. Leaving isn't high on most peoples list when they are on monkey tilt though lol.
When I played heads up I'd go psycho sometimes when the same donks kept owning me match after match. |

Never played much HU sngs .... perhaps I should [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
But the dready ten seaters ... havent played a single sng since november, but it is still automatic ... like swimming, push fold ... push ... fold ... fold ... pwn bubble ... fold .... push every single hand HU ... etc |

I found heads up to be less variance.. and a greater roi.. BUT! you can't play nearly as many of them at a time.. and you won't get the same $/hr as u can with massive multi table affairs.

I am going to be so happy when exams are over. I spent 9 hours in the library today and have put in similar hours for the last week. I wish I could put in hours like that at 50NL, I'd make my April goal in like 2 days.
