[ QUOTE ]
61/8/1 over 250 hands [/ QUOTE ] 1 is not very aggressive, but you didn't say HOW he hasn't been respecting your cbets... in other words, if he simply just doesn't fold, then that is much different if he doesn't fold but also bets every turn when you check. The point is, the 1 indicates that he is passive postflop, so based on that I wouldn't expect him to bet the turn very often. So I'd much prefer to bet myself when I expect my opponent to call with basically any piece. You protect vs. draws and you get value out of 1 pair hands or better. But if he's been betting the turn when checked to, then check/raising the turn can be ok as well. Really it's hard to say what the optimal line is w/o knowing a little bit more about how he plays postflop. In a vacuum against this type of opponent I'd rather just fire a 2nd barrel on the turn. If I check/raised the turn, I would make it more and I'd shove any river. |

If he has no respect for your cbets, your bet on the flop should be pot-sized instead of 2/3 pot.

Hmmmm, checking PT his aggression is 0.19 preflop, 2.07/2.75/3.33 postflop. I only have total aggression shown in my HUD. He had been running hot, mostly against me at 61% won at showdown and 32% went to showdown.
I had been giving up on a lot of c-bets against him after a failed double barrel that got showndown. |

DrJ,
Three bet to 3.50 preflop. I would raise the flop get it most of the time especially if there is a FD on board. rhett, Sick spot do you have reads? I probably fold and probably bet 10 on the turn. IFoldPkt1s, Just keep betting until you get it in he could check back FDs midpair, etc. |

I FoldPkts, I would make my cbet slighty larger there. |

dr j,
1) fold pf; if you want to VPIP, raise 2) raise flop 3) raise more on turn; call push, i guess. you lose to 56 and 44, i guess, and get paid off by a chunk of other stuff. another reason to fold pf, or raise. |
