[ QUOTE ]
Zambrano walked a weak hitter-Schumacher to put a runner in scoring position.

Then, he gave a pitch that Molina knocked the other direction for a base hit similar to the game-winning rbi Molina had just the other day.

That's two mistakes to the bottom of the order that added an insurance run.

One better pitch by Hancock and the Cards win today.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, Molina fought off an inside fastball. More good hitting than bad pitching. Who cares anyway? I will take the sweep. Cards have no bullpen so far. Obviously, LaRussa has no confidence in Looper. Izzy looked awful tonight like there might be something wrong with him. Right now the Cards have 3 hitters. The other 6 aren't doing anything. Granted, it was just one series, but I'm liking the way we look and I'm liking the way the Cards look.

The small bears swept the Cards 5 years ago as well. What happened that year?

Funny watching all the Cardinal fans act like someone pissed in their cherrios. Give the Cubs credit for kicking your asses all weekend. I guess life must really suck in ST Louis for you hicks to keep bringing up Completly Useless By September crap. After all 1982 wasnt exactly yesterday either you guys lay an egg each year in the playoffs. I thought Sox fans were the most foolish fans but I think that honor goes to the Cruds fans now. Cubs may not win more than 85 games this year but you guys look to have quite a few holes. Now open that new dump of a Stadium against the mighty Brewers, we will see you in a couple weeks.

the only dump of a stadium is Wrigley where 1/4 of all seats are obstructed view

Every April...it never fails...the Cubbies following crow and crows

2004 Cards looked like they had alot of holes when they started 23-22 including some crummy games verse the small bears

oh well...yesterday is yesterday. A 3-3 road trip isn't exactly bad, it just sucked the way it went down; awesomeness at Philly , sucktacular at the over-priced beer garden .

Now, it's [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]OPENING DAY [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for the new Busch.
The stadium looks excellent. I caught that minor league game there the other night. I couldn't get tix for a reasonable price for today's game . But, I'll be there soon enough. Hopefully, the stadium will capture the excitement of the old Busch and showcase the best fans in baseball. FSN MIdwest just replayed the Card comeback from 9-3 in the 9th inning last year at Cincy; I'm pumped!
