Because we had no desire to live in LV, nor to raise our daughter there. Just our personal opinion. Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan) [/ QUOTE ] I remember reading the article about you moving to Raleigh while I was visiting my parents. Good pick for your wife since the biotech industry is indeed great there. Its a great place to grow up too. I enjoyed it |

What? I see no love for '02 champ Robert Varkonyi. WTF I mean he became champion, one year before poker became vouge. That means he had to go through a field that had mad SKILLZ.

In '02 WSOP ME he got 23rd out of 631 not to mention three bracelets. So he went from '02 23/631, '03 10/839, '04 no cash/2400, '05 20/5600 in the WSOP ME... and youre saying he doesnt do as good in the large fields? buddy, you have no idea what youre talking about. |

not to mention that raymer's good results in four tournaments basically mean only that he's not bad, but certainly don't definitively set him as the greatest large-field tournament player of all time.
if someone came on the MTT forum and said "guys, i cashed in my last four partypoker tournaments and won one. am i the best partypoker tourney player of all TIME?!", he would get laughed at. we call it variance. if raymer failed to cash in his next 20 WSOP tourneys (certainly a very real possibility), would that make him a worse player? |

Phil Ivey by a mile.
Daniel Negreanu is thinking too much nowadays... he's getting bored, and trying to be too imaginative in the early rounds. |
