[ QUOTE ] by the beginning of the 6th hour of the $500K Guaranteed, the FTP Pro has earned his buy-in back. If you're going to cash at all you need to make it into the 6th hour [/ QUOTE ] Uh, this tournament only last 8 hours. Have you even played in a Sunday Major before? [/ QUOTE ] Yes. Like I said, any cashing FTP Pros effectively get their buy-ins paid for with their hourly rate. |

[/ QUOTE ] Actually opinions offered by you were pretty stupid and not at all interesting. I wish I could argue with you but I have to go cut myself. |

No. I said at $40/hr by the beginning of the 6 the hour the FTP Pro had earned his buy-in ( $40/hr * 5 = $200 ). [/ QUOTE ] And usually by about 3 1/2 hours in, the buble has burst, so everyone left has earned their buy-in. |

If these players don't have a combined 100% ROI at these tourneys, then they are juicing the pot. Don't forget that they are putting up 2 buy-ins thanks to the bounties.

I don't know if I should bump this thread, but OP's rant may be typical of some amateur's reaction. The "play poker with the pros" marketing has some disadvantage in that some people think "I don't want to play pros; I want to play donks I can beat."
It is easy for us to see that many of these "pros" are pretty weak players, but some people may be intimidated by the red names. |
