Can you explain a bit about this poker club? You go there but they deposit onto Full Tilt and you play online?
Just a bit confused. |

There's been an exciting new development!
Checking my online bank account today I was surprised to see the balance was way more than it should have been. I take a look, and see the recruitment agency's billing company have paid me last week's wages twice. So they paid me $17000 rather than $850. Result!!! It was a 'BACS' payment which in the UK is how most wages are paid. What's my plan? Bank error in your favour, collect $850!! Unfortunately I think there's a good chance the payroll was screwed up not just for me but for everyone at the agency, in which case as a matter of urgency they'll be trying to reclaim the money as they'll be severely out of pocket. I'm not sure how they want me to pay it back - bank transfer? Or they just don't pay me next week? I am on good terms with the founder/manager of the agency - she's my point of contact, and we have long friendly work-related discussions quite often. I could quite easily not tell her I've been paid twice and keep the money, but when she does find out it would be embarassing - though I'd feign ignorance - and potentially harmful to my standing and reputation. Thankfully my bank cash card was cancelled a few weeks back, so it's not like I can spend this money anyway. The most I can withdraw is £100 a day and I have to go into a bank to get it. What next, eh? |

[/ QUOTE ] Aha, cool - want to meet up? Be great to meet the man behind the stories & to talk about Italy. I promise I will not hit you for small change! I've not played the cash games at the Western but I think generally you sit with around £100-£300. You're better off at the Gutshot to be honest ( http://www.gutshot.com ) because it's more central, more people go there, and there are smaller games. You'll need some I.D to sign up, though, and they've just introduced a £3 entry fee (on top of rake) due to the recent court case they've been involved with. |
