For me, the movie that tops this category is "House of 1000 Corpses" by Rob Zombie. Admittedly, I'm somewhat of a horror fan, but not fanatical by any means. This one starts out as a pretty classic slasher movie, but ends up being very disturbing, with totally amazing scenary/background (argh...for the life of me, can't remember the correct English term here). If you like horror flicks at all, it's highly recommended. Most people just dismiss it out of hand because of the slashery title.
And while I'm at it, I of course have to mention "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", even though it's a series and not a movie |

Not sure if these count, but there are a lot of movies that if I had paid to see them in a theatre, I would be angry. But, if they are on like, HBO or Showtime, I just have to sit and watch them. Under Siege 2 is included. Also, Airborne(silly teen rollerblading movie with Jack Black and Seth Green), 13 going on 30, and The Island.

dirty work and little nicky were both great movies that are perfect nominations. i also enjoyed shanghi knights with jackie chan and owen wilson. [/ QUOTE ] the scene where norm tells artie to moon the movie line, then pulls right up to it, is one of the funniest scenes n the history of movies. |

(starring Phantoms Ben Affleck) [/ QUOTE ] Yo Ben Affleck was da bomb in Phantoms! On a more serious note... Point break starring Keanu Reeves as Special Agent Johnny Utah, Gary Busey as Agent Angelo Pappas and Patrick Swayze as Bodhi. 27 banks in three years - anything to catch the perfect wave!100% Pure Adrenaline. Can it get any better than that, Gary Busey is the nuts! Or is it just he is nuts? |
