All celebrity deaths make me sad. Celebrities are the truly exceptional among us. Whenever one dies, all of our lives are worse due to their glaring absence.

Anna-N Smith's death actually was sad, esp. for the TrimSpa people. Good time for a stock short if it's public, I guess.

Jeff Buckley's death I don't remember, but I'm sad for him every time I listen to his music.

John Lennon died before I was born, still sad though.

When I heard about Johnny Cash's death, I literally had to hold myself up from the shock. Not that I didn't know he was very ill; just from the magnitude of the loss.
