Note: +570 is the lowest number to play for a 5 unit bet on this game.

This shocked me! Is +570 just such a high # as to be of value in practically any NFL game,
or are there things in this particular match-up that make you like S.F. (given this theoretical moneyline).

I enjoy your picks.
Thanks for posting them!

Assuming there were no trends for or against either team, I would bet any home (ed dog getting +570, and probably with a minimum of 3 units. There are trends going San Fran's way in this one also that make this a 5 unit game.

Well I posted a quick glance post on Monday here (and actually acted on it at -2.5), but I need to watch the Patriots before I have my full analysis. My guess is that I won't feel very strongly about this game, either way. My concern is that Belicheck is just smarter than the Falcons and will be able to gameplan against Vick on the defensive side of the ball and against our LBs and secondary on the offensive side. What I haven't been able to determine is whether NE just doesn't have the horses to execute whatever gameplan Belichek comes up with. But we'll see. More to come.

I'm fully aware of how losing Harrison could affect the defense. What I don't understand is why the O was shut out in the 2nd half -- bad protection with Light gone for the year, good SD defense, etc. I've only seen a few brief highlights of the game.
