Been seeing ads on TV. Here is an information link with a "review" : The Departed
In the TV ads Jack Nickolson has a great line that he stole from me - "lets kill everybody". My kind of movie. Le Misanthrope

To me, it looks like everybody is trying too hard. It looks like Donnie Brasco without the charm. But I hope I'm wrong. I like all the actors in the movie.

I will go and watch this film, but I have no faith in Scorcese right now.
He really needs to win an oscar, and he is going to continue to try to make the perfect fit until he wins. At this, he will not make a good film again. At least, not of the caliber of good fellas or casino.

This movie looks awesome. Goodfellas and Casino were both excellent movies, Scorsese is a great. [/ QUOTE ] .....Have you seen any of his 'earlier' movies? Mean Streets. Taxi Driver. Raging Bull. If not, you should take them in.
