Wow.

Bumper stickers!

One that I dislike is:

[ QUOTE ]
"I had sex with your honor student."

[/ QUOTE ]

I just had a daughter, and am already dreading the day she comes home in the first mini-skirt.

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't worry, I don't think your daughter's going to be an honor student (unless the apple falls far from the clump of seaweed or whatever).

[/ QUOTE ]

Nice burn.

I saw one on the way to work today that made me laugh:

"Jesus Saves, but Moses Invests"

AHHHH STOP!

I lack the willpower to stop responding to you people.

Just do a little research on your ideas and get back to me.

The problem is that not all scientists are comparing notes with one another so a few leak out little details that blow holes in other theories.

The moon is moving away from the earth at a rate of about 3.8 centimeters a year. The moon is only 402,336km away from the Earth today... Can one of you oh-so-smart cosmic evolutionists tell me how many years ago the surfaces of the 2 celestial bodies would have been touching?

Yeah, about 100,000 years ago at the present rate.

The sun is shrinking by about 5 feet per hour in diameter. Do the math and only a few million years ago, the Earth would have been swallowed up.

The rings of Saturn are slowly moving away from the planet as well. If the solar system is 18 billion years old, those rings would have been LONG gone.

Not to mention the fact that we see novas and supernovas all the time but have NEVER seen a star being born.

Now, you might throw arguments at me like "well maybe for the first 17,999,993,165 years the moon/sun/rings weren't moving/shrinking/dissipating!

Maybe not. But is that the best argument you can give me?

As far as the Sun goes... do you guys know what the sun is? It's a BURNING BALL OF GASSES! Key word there is BURNING. Some people like to counter the shrinking sun argument by saying that, well maybe every few million years it stops shrinking and sort of expands like a baloon so it can start shrinking again and then our theory works! Yeah... ok... well last time I checked the process of BURNING something didn't produce MORE mass/matter than it started with.

I can't do this anymore.

I have no problem with your evolutionist religion... I really don't. It would be hypocritical of me to hold my beliefs and NOT let you have yours. I just don't want my property taxes to go to teaching your religion to unsuspecting kids in the public schools. =/

I pay to put my kids in a private school. That's where creationism/evolution belong.

The first Darwin fish I saw I thought was awesome.

The problem is that a lot of people my age thought that and got one and now they're just so played out that instead of making a statement about evolution it speaks more to "I am not original".

rojjoh's post makes me think that a red x sticker would be hilarious.

I wasn't sure how competing ideas worked things out until I saw that.

lol that rocks

I don't care how much you despise religion or the bible... but to think we all "evolved" from rocks takes more faith than any religion requires.

The theory of evolution has more holes than 700 miles of chicken wire.

[/ QUOTE ]

ha-ha, you believe in god.

[/ QUOTE ]

And Slade19 is uneducated. The ID "experts" have yet to find a solid hole in the theory of evolutionary. The human body an amazing machine. However, it is full of horribly flawed designs. If god really designed us he is one really really bad architect.
