There are lots of cover versions I like. But three absolute classics are:

Nina Simone - Here Comes the Sun (orig. by The Beatles)

Soft Cell - Tainted Love (orig. by Ed Cobb) / segues into Where Did Our Love Go (orig. by The Supremes)

Pet Shop Boys - Where The Streets Have No Name (orig. by U2) / segues into I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You (orig. by Al Green).

Anyone heard these?

I never, ever thought I would or could EVER say this about any Prince song, but Sinead O'Connor DESTROYS Prince's version of "Nothing Compares 2 U".
