Someday, I will play in the WSOP. Because I'm at least as good as this Gold guy.

Jamie Gold raises to $5,000 preflop and Brian Micon thinks for a minute before finally pushing all-in for $18,000 more ($23,000 total). Jamie Gold folds, showing pocket Queens and Micon is amazed by the fold. Micon says he got lucky that a huge stacked player would fold a hand like that preflop to a short-stack's all-in. After his comment, he waved an electronic sign that read "Donkey." Micon now sits with $31,000.

Daniel's new blog is up. He gives some good information about two QQ hands from Day 2. In one, he folded QQ pre-flop in the big blind to a raise, reraise, and re-reraise. In the other, his opponent had the QQ against his AcKx when the flop came club, club, club and he check-pushed all-in.

At the same site that's not Card Player, Pauly announced that Chris Ferguson is out. Josh Arieh out also.

More updates:

981 left, tables are now 9 handed.

Too funny, from Card Player:

[ QUOTE ]

Phil Hellmuth, who is currently sweating Hans "Tuna" Lund, has come over to grace the table with his rhyming skills. Hellmuth has adjusted the lyrics of the Notorious B.I.G.'s Hypnotize. Lyrics are below.

"Tuna, Tuna, Tuna, can't you see?

Sometimes your play just hypnotizes me."

Shortly afterwards, Hellmuth was asked to leave the tournament area due to lack of media credentials.

What's wrong with saying what site it is? Does Cardplayer have some deal with 2+2?

UCLA down to 31.5k at the first break.

But, this is how he's rolled throughout this entire tourney; Get down early and then go on a rush late.
