I'd probably go with something like ten, if im assured a painless death.
If I died, I would never have to worry about anything again If I won, I would never have to worry about anything again. |

I would only do it once no matter what the odds were. 10 million invested well is enough to see you through your lifetime.

Does my wife get the 10M if I die? If so, I'll play with a 1,000 chamber gun. If not, a 10,000 chamber gun.

Twenty chambers. I'm not a very happy person. If the proposition ever seriously came up I'd probably raise or lower it depending on how I was feeling at the moment.
If I got the money no matter what (and therefore my family would get it if I died) I definitely see myself going lower. I have a lot of poor family members. |

Probably 1 in 6, but I've been as low as even money. I'm not convinced that 1 in 6 is really accurate. I can see dipping to 1 in 3 really easy.

It definitely changes the odds if your family still gets the money if you do blow your head off. Maybe 50 for me. 100 if they don't get the money.

I have never hit a gutshot on the river in my life (well I've probably never chased one but that's beside the point) so obviously I would be safe with 10 chambers.
Is it a messed up reflection of the forums that some of us are saying we'd do it for 3 chambers, or even a flip? I think this thread actually helped me take a look at my life and pursure other goals. Who says russian roulette has no benefit to society? |
