I can honestly answer those questions:
Yes, people have played here. Texas Hold'em and Omaha is currently available (but we're only seeing traffic on the $.10/.20 NL currently because we just turned on the Cashier) Yep, we're quiet and tiny right now. If you're looking for maniac action, we're not yet there. Mainly S&G's and Freerolls right now Jar. Doug |

I recently joined and must say that the freerolls are probably the best on the net atm with regards the prizes vs. the number of entrants |

Yeah, that would be due to our rush to get the site up before our marketing messages hit the street. Ah well, live and learn.
We're like a float at the Mardi Gras, throwing out beads, only we're running down the street a week before the parade. Anyone have a good recipe for skinless chicken wings? |

You aren't listed on Bonus Whores site list. You need to rectify this! This is the first place I look when I want to sign up to a new poker site, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
P.S I think the Gold Cards is a really good promotion idea that I'm surprised no-one's done before. The 'Own a Piece of Cake' thing sounds a little like the gimmick of Poker Syndicate (Boss Media, formerly Imperial Poker) - though I missed at first that it was something you have to win rather than for every player like Poker Syndicate. |

Hi folks,
Well, since we're paying top 60 players in a Private Freeroll today and there's only 60 registered at this time, we're opening up the doors to you folks as well. =) Download the game, click Tournaments and then the Private Tab. The $1K freeroll is called Discovery Private Tournament. The password is FREE1K (all caps). The site that was supposed to promote this didn't get their message out in time, so our loss is your gain. And...let's make this interesting, shall we? A $20 bounty goes to the player who is the first player to do all three of the following actions 1) Leaves the Discovery Tournament in the money 2) Earn a Gold Card 3) Post a Hand History link to the hand that YOU win a Gold Card in. You have until 11:59 PM EST Friday to post the Hand History To post a Hand History: Click the Last Hand button in the top left corner of the table screen. A Hand History screen will open and when it does, click the Create Shareable Webpage link in the top right. You should get a webpage to open up. Just take that link and post it in this thread to mark your Hand Number and Time as the first to get the Gold Card. You will have to redeem the Gold Card in order to claim the bounty. Please post your screenname so we can tell which player you were and so that I may verify your claim and then award you the prize. Any questions? |

Just signed up (I'm England0907 - wanted something fishy-sounding yet true ;-)).
Very early impressions: Like the speed of deposit, software speed and notes system. Don't like the fact that default buy-in is not a full stack. It doesn't look like you've implemented in-play seat-change: was it judged to be too fish-off-putting? |

In play seat change? Are you referring to a Seat Me Here feature (requested, not yet implemented) or our Stand Up feature (whereby you can stand up from the table and then take another seat without closing the window)?

Ah, it seems to be working now - does it wait for the end of the current hand before displaying the 'Seat Open' buttons?

It's still a little wonky. If you were in a hand, it sits you out instead of just pulling you out of the seat when you don't have cards, which it's supposed to do. When you're not dealt cards in the start of the next hand, you can click it and stand up from the seat.
A number of tweaks are still in the hopper. I'm still not happy with some of the functionality yet, which is why we're going light on the marketing. |

Mental Note:
Never hold a freeroll on a long holiday weekend as a new site. We're basically paying folks just to show up. Ah well, live and learn |
