[censored] turn. AQ puts the stack in the middle now. And I think AQ is very much part of his range. However that range is also composed of sets and two pairs that just made a boat, AA, KK, JK, and maybe flush draws.
I dunno. It's not like you beat much that calls you. Maybe checking behind and calling river is better? You may catch some bluffs or weaker hands. I might be being results oriented here. Seeing hte board pair against on the river makes me wanna puke. |

here i am playing this donkament that i got into for 10FPP, complaining to myself that the problem with the turbo tourneys is that if you dont get any hands at the beginning, you're screwed for the rest because any call you make preflop later will drain the majority of your stack and if you miss, you're done.
so i get the pocket 7's, thinking that someone was going to raise as usual, im about out of the tourney as my chips are running low for the 400 chip BB. one push, two push, three push, give me a break. then i had a thought, if i was going to hit real hard and have any chance at placing in the money, i would have to play this hand, with the chips i would win, i would secure my spot into some free change. i call, the rest is history.... The table was possibly the weakest table I'd ever experienced and were letting me steal the blinds all the time, so who am i to say no with any two? lol. I had a really good read on the other big stack, I'd played quite a number of hands with him. He'd be quite happy to showdown some very weak holdings before in big pots. Also he'd always play hands fast so i felt pretty safe on the turn and river.
