ugh it's monday and the games are terrible - I'm thinking of playing some omahahahaha, thoughts?

Look into Index funds. You will get your best return there but you have to stuff it away long term (no touching it for years!).

If he is 19 I am sure he is living with his parents which makes him a dependent and he possibly is a student.

Im not an accountant but I think the pro filing is not an option for him.

Yea Im a student so I dont think Ill be filing as a pro. I think Im gonna go pick up some basic investing books from the school library and see what I can gather from those.

don't play on tilt or stars...but minbet is 1000x easier after playing NL

Do you mean going BACK to minbet is easier after playing NL? Because I'm a NL donk and I always feel a little lost playing minbet poker.

Those will most likely be outdated.

Read Motleyfool.com, The Economist.com, WSJ, etc.

Watch MadMoney with Kramer on MSNBC (Novelty only).

Don't give your money to a stockbroker. Avoid fees and trade online using one of the many sites available. Your goal should be to get over a 5% return on your investment. CD's, Savings accounts, and bonds are for the birds.
