I think it's very possible most of the 60/100 level games have become either unprofitable or barely profitable since neteller. It's almost all regulars now. Even at 4am.

yea i figured this out 2-3 weeks ago. it seems like there are less now sometimes because lots of the regs have given up temporarily.

I am going over a HH from one of my sng's today. I didn't play one single hand besides hand 9 I checked my option with KQ in the BB, and then I fold every hand until hand 41 where I have 1 BB behind the BB I posted, with 32o, where I called, then lost.

other than: write on the board in the classroom, leave a note under the professors office door, write the professor an email, and wait at the prof's office when the test is supposed to be over can you think of anything good to do if you showed up for a test and no one was there?

school is so [censored] rigged why the [censored] didn't I play a ton a year ago and just drop out?

All,

I've recently been thinking that maybe noobs have questions that aren't quite answered in the FAQ / Other Links thread, but that don't really merit their own thread either. I know as a mod it's tempting to just respond and lock these threads, but I wonder if that's the best solution... a few days later, some other noob shows up asking the same question, sometimes they probably don't feel like they got the information they were looking for, etc.

So what I'm wondering is if it would be worth it to start a SNG Beginners thread where basically noobs could ask mundane questions like "What ROI is good for the $1 SNGs", "I need a good plan for moving up in stakes", "Why should I use this particular software". I mean ok, this stuff all seems painfully obvious and stupid once you've been hanging out on 2+2 for 2 years and playing SNGs for that long. But I try to think back to when I was just starting, I probably had some stupid questions that I wanted to ask 2 or 3 things about anyway.

So what do you all think of having a thread where noobs could ask noob questions and I would answer them (or anyone else that wanted to answer would be welcome to of course).

I guess if a few people seem to think it would be a good idea I'll make a poll (?) or something, but if everyone thinks it'd be pointless and more clutter I'll forget about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe you ahould do a noob digest thread with links to others threads like "should I buy SNGPT?" or "How much harder are 6.50s compared to 3.40?s.

People like yourself and others have already taken the time to answer a lot of these questions over and over, so you might as well just aggregate that content.

[/ QUOTE ]

Putting something together for newer players will be very much appreciated. At least I know I would appreciate it.

Well I got a contract job. We'll see where it goes. I'll be sure to rant in this thread everytime I run into some frustrating programming issue I can't figure out.

Congrats suzzer. You really seem to need a break from the game. Or, at the very least, a break from needing to win money at it to survive.
