Friberg Doubles Through Gold
Gold raises to $400,000 from late position and Erik Friberg calls from the button. The flop comes 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and both players check. The turn is a 10[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and Gold bets $1,200,00. Friberg moves all-in for $1,500,000 more and Gold calls. Gold shows A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and Friberg turns over 10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Gold needs an Ace, Queen, or diamond to eliminate Friberg. The river is a 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and Friberg has doubles up to $7,500,000. Gold is currently hovering around $31,500,000.

Maybe his luck is starting to change. He should be down to around 28m chips now, heh.

The ball of yarn is unwinding a little, he's lost 20% of his stack in these 2 hands.

9:53pm--Down to 11

Fred Goldberg has just busted John Magill with pocket nines vs. pocket fives. We're down to all players, one off the final table, and two off the final ESPN table.

That was a missed opportunity for Cunningham. He should have gotten a lot more with flush over flush.

Jamie Gold completes from the small blind and Allen Cunningham raises to $300,000 from the big blind. Gold makes the call and the flop comes down 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Gold bets $300,000 and Cunningham calls. The turn is the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and both players check. The river is a 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and Gold bets $1,000,000. Cunningham raises to $2,000,000 and after several minutes Gold makes the call. Gold shows 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] but Cunningham shows A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] for the nut flush. Cunningham collects the large pot and has vaulted to $16,200,000 and Gold is at $28,000,000.
