I mean I really [censored] hate this game

I really [censored] hate this game. No more [censored] slowplaying anything, period. [censored] that.

I knew he had an overpair. I knew he did. I knew he had 2 outs. I try to extract a little more. A little [censored] more. This is what happens every [censored] time.

It's not even a bad beat, it's a badly played hand(I guess) but I am getting so sick of this. I simply cannot try to extract more from 200NL players because I will get re-sucked out on. Every time. I am pushing this on the flop every time now.

lol;

It was actually because he has pulled a [censored] of moves on me in the past. Not really a good player, but he has peppered me with big raises. It was not used to try to extract value, but for him to re-raise AI with QQ/KK/AA.

Regardless, I think the move gained me a crapload of money if he doesn't hit compared to a lot of other moves. I bet big on turn for flush draws and I think he would absolutely call down almost any big pair for a lot of money.

But, Finally, I played it bad and I know that. The thing is, every hand I try something different or something slightly -EV to try and make someone make a huge mistake, I just get murdered for it on turn/river.

For my info, how do you play it street by street? Guy behind me was pretty loose and I was counting on him calling preflop fyi and also was trying to get him to call in-between me and other guy and was hoping other guy would r-r on flop. But your line?

I pot raise the flop, but obv I end up losing my entire stack in the end too. There's nothing you can do about him hitting a queen, but I just hate minraising and giving people awesome odds to call with a straight or flush draw.

Yes,

But like I said on my read I was almost positive on an overpair. JJ-AA. No straight draws and maybe AQ-AKs but doubtful, because I think he almost always c-r this because he thinks I am overly aggro and wants to be tricky.

He was straightforward and tight, but had gotten tricky vs me a lot for some reason and had made big raises on overpairs once or twice as well as a couple made hands too, so I thought maybe the m-r would throw him off and make him bluff off the stack again.

melon, I think your 3beting range preflop is fairly wide. but after flop I probably wouldnt make plays at you I have thought about it though [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] the other reason people might be doing this is your AF, I have it around 8 which is pretty high for FR imo...the style you are playing is a good style but you have to be prepared for the swings you are getting yourself into... you can always really TAG it up if you dont like the swings I guess

Yea sometimes my old 6 max side takes over me and I cant stop betting. Tonight I decided to try to tone the aggression down some and thought I was doing a good job till I checked PT lol.

Overall solid session, thought I played extremely well and didnt spew at all.
