hansen is never gonna be anything though [/ QUOTE ] Kyleb or Kyro did a frame by frame of how Beckett has changed his windup from last year. I would like to see one on Hansen. It seems he's changed it dramatically from his St. Johns/early Red Sox time. He used to come more 3/4 from third base and the ball got on top of rh hitters. Also he was clocked at 98 when he first came up. He's changed something and not for the better. |

I'd love to take credit, but I just stole it from Carlos Gomez from Hardball Times.

I've always been of the opinion that Timlin was garbage, but not Schilling. My knee-jerk reaction was to call you guys overreactionary Red Sox fans with regard to Schilling, but then I watched the game.
That was quite possibly one of the worst pitching performances I have ever seen out of someone that is supposed to be a legitimate #2-#3. 85-88 mph fastball and a 82-85 off-speed pitch? That is terrible. |

schilling hasn't looked all that good all year, the only times he has looked really great it's mostly been because he's pitching to the oakland A's or my brother's little league team or something.
timlin had a couple of really valuable years for us, and apparently tito thinks this means he is going to become good again. he was a horse in 04 who is now ready for the glue factory. |
