tell me what you think of splitting 'a&e' into a separate forum

I'll just go ahead and agree with everybody who voiced a moderate opinion that splitting it would be bad for OOT, but it WOULD create a quality forum (for myself, given that I respond to the majority of music posts and not so much to anything else).

If you asked me, I would say do it. If things go to hell, you can always put it back together, right?

I think further diluting OOT is a bad idea. it's already been done a couple times already and now again? where would it stop?

Exactly. Who are these little bitches that are so afraid of this forum? What's so scary about it? It's incredibly childish, that I will concede, but that's a direct result of the last time it was split. Might as well finish the job, I guess.

Frankly, if you're going to make this split, just get rid of OOT altogether and just go straight to making the 40 subforums now and get it over with.

3: i have made it painfully obvious that i made the thread so that people could have their thoughts be heard.

you asked me how i expected you to like the idea after i already said i didn't expect people to like the idea. mat has responded in the thread already. obviously people are watching. if you think it is good or bad, this is your opportunity to reason out why you think it's good or bad. saying "i don't like it" or "waaaa i think they're going to do it anyway!" isn't going to change anybody's mind.

Personally I don't like the idea. I do see many good points on both sides of the issue though. I do apprecieate being asked for input.
