I have two "clubs" and would like to be able to easily duplicate a member from one club to the other. As far as I can see, it isn't possible to do this right now. In fact, you're going to end up sending the same person two log-in credentials and/or you might not even be able to add them because their email address is already used. [/ QUOTE ] Just add the same members to your new club. If the email address already exists in the database, you don't need to specify the person's names and nickname either. If you do specify them, they will be overwritten with whatever exists in the database. steve North Shore Low Rollers |

Great site. I agree with the suggestions about different levels of players. In my league, i have only 8 seats available, but I have more than 8 players. So I have "Primary" players, and I have "Alternates". It would be nice to not allow the "Alternates" to RSVP until I allow it (to give the "Primary" players a chance first).

Club owner transfer, and club administrators (people with permission to schedule/record tourneys, etc.) are on my to do list. [/ QUOTE ] Perfect that would be a great feature. That way I don't always have to attend the tournaments to make sure everything is recorded correctly. [ QUOTE ] I like your idea about premium/part time members. How about I implement this by allowing you to create "email lists" that would be assigned to any emails sent out. Still, all of your members that check the website would still be able to RSVP to the scheduled tournament, but you as an administrator would be able to adjust everyone's RSVP status. steve North Shore Low Rollers [/ QUOTE ] Your suggestion sounds very good. I don't mind if other people are checking the website and decide to join. I posted in the "News" section that anyone is free to join a tournament that I've labelled "OPEN". I would like the regulars to be aware of the smaller games first and when someone host the larger games I can email everyone and your method will work perfectly. |

I managed to get the URL I really wanted when I came up with the site idea!
www.homepokertour.com What do you guys think of the logo...am I gonna get sued by WPT The old URL still works, but please update your email safe lists for homepokertour.com so messages don't end up in your junk/bulk folder. Thx, steve North Shore Low Rollers |

stevea,
I've been having a problem for some months now with having to sign in twice before it lets me in the site. Nothing huge, but annoying. It's not just my browser, and it does it both for Mac and PC. I don't know if it's just because I'm the club creater, or if it's for everyone in my group. I'm wondering if you knew about this bug, and would appreciate it if you could fix it! Thanks, P. |
