Great job in making this available.

Cant get started, the tables do not get recognised. Says waiting for tables. Any ideas?

How long have you left it trying for?
Have you tried restarting Party and/or FPHG?

Try editing run.bat to look like this:

@echo off
freephg.exe -prof -debug >> fphg.log

Then use run.bat to run FPHG and zip/send the log file to me at: [email protected]

How do I set up pokertracker to import these files automatically? I read something about naming a file empire.exe, but didn't quite understand.

[/ QUOTE ]

1. Make a folder for mining somewhere.
2. Copy an execuatble into this folder and rename it EmpirePoker.exe (or another skin you don't use).
3. Copy FreePHG.exe into this folder also.
4. Open up some tables (see below).
5. Start running FreePHG.exe from your mining folder and you should start to see .hhf files appearing for the tables you are watching.
6. When you want to import these hands, point PT at this folder by pointing it at the EmpirePoker.exe (it will then think this folder is the empire folder and [auto-]import from their).

(Thanks the Adde for working out this method! )

What is the name of the program you use to make sure you've always got an active table open? I don't think I can still run partymine with this.

[/ QUOTE ]

The program (really its a AHK script, but its cool - better than PartyMine IMO) you want is called iWitness (its main discussion thread is (here).

Also I read that someone had 25 tables open. How can that be if you can only open 12?

[/ QUOTE ]
I think you need to use multiple Windows XP user areas for this, and just mine 4 extra tables in each user area (I wouldn't risk multiple Party accounts after the ZJ thing). To be able to do this you will need a pretty fast PC, and I am not even 100% sure yet how this will work as FPHG is pretty CPU intensive, but a few are likely trying it and we should get some feedback fairly soon.

BTW: How do you open 12 tables, I can only do 10?

I did this and it says [censored] like
Import Finished - 11 file(s) read - 0 new hand(s) were imported.

The tables are showing up in the mining folder...PT is accessing the mining folder..it obviously sees the 11 tables I have open..but its not importing any hand histories??

FPHG was designed to save hand history files to disk.

Poker Tracker is designed to take hand history files and import them into it's internal database.

If Poker Tracker is refusing to import hand history files, then this is not the fault of FPHG; it is a Poker Tracker problem and hence the proper place for reporting this problem is here:

Nice tool, but it is using so much resources and is slowing me down considerably.
Is there anything I can do?

Yes, if you have a fast PC then their is no need for it to eat so much CPU time.

(1) You can either run the batch file to try to reduce the priority of the process (making the CPU load still heavy but still prioritizing other tasks over FPHG).

(2) You can use the -d option to give back more CPU cycles to the system.

Its a fine balance though between missing hands and using a lot of CPU, so you will have to experiment with different delays using the -d option (try using values like "-d 1000" or "-d 1500" and see if you start to lose hands).

In general the faster your PC the better, and also you should have plenty of memory as if some of the memory gets paged to disk, FPHG will run much slower and be much more resource hungry. Also the number of tables opened does not have such a great effect on CPU load.

Looks like using the batch file makes it work well.

It seems like every one has solved this problem but me.

I cant get the observed hands to auto import.

I have done everything.

1.I moved the freephg to the empirepokermaster folder. not the HH folder where my HH's r kept

2. the black box that is freephg is fuctioning and reading the tables and posting observed hands in the freephg folder.

3. poker tracker is functioning, but only bringing in my hands. It is pointed to party and empire.

4. I do not have the box for not importing observed HHs checked

I dont know what else I can do. some one plz help

Default FPHG not working after updating Empire

I have been using FPHG for 14 days and everything have worked fine, until yesterday where empire asked me to update their software. Now FPHG is not "seeing" the tables anymore.

Does anyone else have this problem, or do anyone know what I can do to solve the problem?
