Deion revolutionized the game.

Deion would shut down HALF THE FIELD. If he was lined up on the right side, you'd better throw left.

I had never considered him the "best NFL player of all time", because offensive players get all the hype. But when that post got me thinking, I realized that he was the greatest defensive player I've ever seen.

Did you not see LT in his prime? HE revolutionized the game. Deion was a really really good corner cover. LT is the greatest defensive player ever and it's not close, and I'm not a Giants fan.

I know shutdown corner is like the rarest and most valuable commodity in football, but is it really THAT much more important than linebacker/DE/superfreakhybridkilltheQB?
